nice room nice food nice location. Very nice breakfast and waiting staff.

The place a little preoccupied with hosting a large wedding on the evening I was there. I felt a little neglected on one or two matters, but am sure this is not usual.

Our aim of the trip was to have a break and enjoy some Sicilian atmosphere including food, hospitality and ambience. Agriturismo Savoca can give all this in its simplest form. The owners are very helpful. We have a small kid aged 3 who enjoyed running after the peacocks which are running around the area. Also close encounters with the 10 horses was also a nice experience for her. Food served at the restaurant was very good at a good rate ( 40 euro for antipasto, pasta, salad, excellent pork, bottle of wine, water, 2 cappuccinos and a bowl of fruit). Pool area is well maintained as well as is all the area. A small tip would be to list on the web site the co-ordinates to be used with a GPS since it took us some time to find it. Possibly will return during the winter.

Definitely, the dinner we had at their restaurant was he best part of staying here. Also worth noting how well the way to the hotel was signalled from Piazza Armerina; otherwise, it would have been very difficult to find.

We had an extremely big and clean room, but the smell coming from the outside and from the sewage was unbearable. We believe the two rooms above the restaurant (one of which we stayed in) were the exception, though. Most probably, the rest of the rooms did not have that problem. Also, very simple breakfast.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and when we changed our plans and stayed only one night, instead of three they were very gracious and very helpful arranging our new plans. Our change of plans involved wanting to get to the Mt. Etna area sooner. The grounds and gardens of the Agriturismo are lovely. There are beautiful old stone buildings of the farm, and the new buildings where the rooms are, were built in the same style. They also had a lovely restaurant - very nicely decorated. We live on a small farm in Carmel Valley, California, so we loved walking around the farm and seeing the horses, pigs, chickens and peacocks. the location of the agriturismo is convenient for visiting Villa Roma di Casale. The Agriturismo had placed signs through Piazza Armerina to facilitate finding them outside of town. Our GPS could not find the location, but a Mapquest route was accurate.

The agriturismo is very well kept and the grounds are beautiful. The dinner was wonderful and not expensive. The location is great. The staff is very friendly and tried to help as much as possible even though they don't speak much English.

It was a bit difficult to find. For some reason the name of the road did not appear in the gps. Luckily there were signs from the city. Breakfast the first morning was very basic. Breakfast the second day was better. Breakfast can be improved.

    The food was good

The shower was in a poor state and the loo smelt. The staff did sort it out and I think it was just that they had not prepared for the new season adequately.

The room was clean, and the service was very good. Unfortunately the weather was bad, but otherwise the location would have been beautiful. There was ample parking space in front of the rooms. We had dinner at the hotel and paid 20 euros per person. The dinner consisted of a precourse (antipasta), first dish (pasta), second dish (meat and salad) and a dessert. Wine and water was included in the price. If asked, a vegetarian alternative was possible. At the end of the stay we received a complimentary bottle of wine bottled at the premises.

Communication is in Italian, so if you don't speak the laguage it is a little bit more difficult to understand each other.

Not too far from The fabulous mosaics at Piazza Armerina

The pool had been abandoned for the winter, a huge and rather ugly disappointment as it was still very hot. Staff on arrival not very friendly, but that improved. Fixed price dinner at 20 euros very good value with a bottle of their local wine each but ridiculous quantity. Small cat howled with hunger in morning and evening-destroying peace and sleep. The place has about 6 bedrooms but the dining room is geared to large functions so barn like not cosy.

The estate is very well kept, clean and tidy. The setting is really nice and being just away enough from the village it is also very peaceful and quiet, ideal for a bit of a relaxing break, be it a countryside walk, an afternoon by the great swimming pool, or simply lounging at the open air "lounge" beside the restaurant. Finally, the food and the house wine - simply fantastic and very cheap. Our Sunday lunch was simply fantastic - delicious food accompanied by some good wine - what more could you ask for?

The rooms, although clean and tidy, are very bare. No TV or Airconditioning (at least in our room). The staff are friendly and helpful, yet lacking that bit of 'finesse'. Communication will also be a bit of a problem unless you speak Italian (not to mention that some of the staff find it also difficult to communicate in Italian!!!)

Agriturismo Savoca is a wonderful experience, immersed in nature yet closed to town. The place is very welcoming, instilling a sense of tranquility the moment you set foot in it while offering a cosy ambience where you immediately feel at home. It has met our expectations in many ways and have been impressed with the outstanding, courteous friendliness of Mr M Savoca who is a delightful host with charming manners.

Good food, decent facilities, helpful and friendly staff. Will consider going again.

Bathroom needs a bit of a renovation and would have preferred airconditioning in the room since it was in Summer.
